Subaru EG/EJ/EZ to EA adapter plate!
Allows you to bolt your Subaru Liberty (Legacy), Impreza, Forester, SVX, Outback or Tribeca engine onto an EA gearbox as found in Subaru Leone, L-series, Vortex or Brumby (Brat).
Commonly used when fitting newer engines to older Subarus while maintaining the original gear box and drive train. Can also be used to fit an EA transmission to a newer EJ powered vehicle (for on-demand 4×4).
EJ series engine 4-bolt (pre 1999)
EJ series engine 8-bolt (post 99) * using only 4 bolts*
EA series gear box – EA81, EA82, and side-starter EA71 (does not suit top-starter)
EG33 engines
EZ30 / EZ36 engines
*Potentially works with FA/FB engines, we’ve not yet tried*
**Please note when fitting twin-turbo engines with this adapter, some filing will be necessary to clear the second turbo mount. No issue with single turbo engines. We can provide a picture if needed.

PLEASE NOTE:
– Offroad use only without appropriate permits or engineering. Check the legislation in your state
– Other modifications required to complete engine conversion e.g. Wiring, fuel system etc.
– Adapter plate faces may show small scratches / imperfections from test fitting. Every single plate is test-fitted to ensure it meets our strict standards. This will make no difference to its appearance once fitted.
